  1. Download Debian
  2. Install and run via VirtualBox
  3. From the Debian GNU/Linux graphical installer boot menu:
    1. Press ESC
    2. At the boot: prompt, type: auto url=https://dev.mateljan.com/preseed.cfg
  4. Install prompts:
    1. Full name for the new user:
    2. Username for your account:
    3. Choose a password for the new user:
    4. Re-enter password to verify:
    Install may take up to two hours - you may want to do something else ;)
  5. Final configuration:
    1. Login
    2. bootstrap1
      1. [sudo] password for username:
      2. Insert Guest Additions CD image, then press Enter.
      3. Press Enter to restart, then login and run bootstrap2.
    3. Login
    4. bootstrap2
      1. Enter or confirm your name [Your Name]:
      2. Enter or confirm your email [username@mateljan.com]:
      3. AWS Access Key ID [None]:
      4. AWS Secret Access Key [None]:
      5. Default region name [None]: us-east-1

      8. Enter or confirm your SSH Key file: [id_rsa]:
      9. Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase):
      10. Enter same passphrase again:
      11. Enter passphrase for /home/username/.ssh/id_rsa:

      12. Please upload your SSH public key below to AWS IAM, and then enter the SSH key id.

        AWS IAM > Users > username > Security credentials > SSH public keys for AWS CodeCommit > Upload SSH public key
